Andrew Ruiz was born and raised in South Florida having lived in Miami Dade and Broward County. During Mr. Ruiz’s studies at St. Thomas University School of Law he excelled as a member of the Trial Team and received the Book Award for the highest grade in Trial Advocacy. After graduating with his Juris Doctor, Mr. Ruiz worked as an Assistant Public Defender at the Law Office of the Public Defender, 17th Judicial Circuit. He gained invaluable experience fighting for client’s rights by attending court on a daily basis and handling trials for those accused of a crime. Mr. Ruiz values the trust that his client have in him to zealously fight on their behalf.
Mr. Ruiz is a member of the Young Lawyers division. In his spare time, Mr. Ruiz enjoys cheering on his local South Florida sports teams and spending quality time with his friends and family.
